Serge the Rabbit

Serge the Rabbit

In 1977, the rabbit made its first appearance on the doors of subway trains to warn the young public (and their parents) of the danger of leaving their hands there. In 1986, he was redesigned for the first time and exchanged his overalls for a loose jogging style very much in the spirit of the time. In 2014, a new rejuvenation: he inherits the name Serge in homage to the man who designed it in 1986. It benefits from a new look and adopts a new, more contemporary wardrobe with jeans, t-shirt and sneakers. It now appears on other equipment (landing doors, escalators) to warn passengers of other dangers.
